Wendy has been practicing yoga and meditation for over thirty years. She brings her knowledge of Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Kripalu Yoga, as well as studies in Ayurveda into her teaching. Her classes focus on creating awareness in all parts of self: mind, heart, body and spirit through exploration into breath work, mindfulness, alignment, strengthening, stretching, spirituality, poetry and good belly laughs. Wendy is a licensed Clinical Social worker and a Yoga Therapist. She believes the key to longevity and well-being lies in the integration between modern medicine and ancient wisdom, in the mind and the body. Wendy has lived in the Bath area since 1985 with her husband and 4, sometimes 5, mostly grown children, a big garden and a dog named Rumi.
